Deja Dead is the first novel by Kathy Reichs starring Temperance Brennan. It won the 1997 Arthur Ellis Award for Best First Novel.The novel is set in Montreal, Quebec where a series of women are found brutally murdered.They are brutally hit on the head and their dead bodies are packed in plastic bags and buried.
